In May 2001 the Organic Centre organised their first permaculture meeting and this year they will revisit the topic again.

“Permaculture is about designing sustainable settlements. It is a philosophy and an approach to land use which weaves together microclimate, annual and perennial plants, animals, water management and human needs into intricately connected, productive communities.” (Bill Mollison)
